Ghana midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has admitted his sadness following his side’s exit in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.
The Black Stars ended their Group H campaign with a 2-0 defeat to Uruguay on Friday which ended their hopes of advancing to the knockout stage.
Salis, who plays his club football for RC Lens, could not hide his disappointment after the match.
“Very sad not to go further.
But we will learn from this ???
#GHAURU” he wrote on his Twitter.
Ghana suffered a 3-2 defeat to Portugal in their first game of the tournament, before recording 3-2 win over South Korea in their second fixture.
The West African country finished bottom of Group H with three points.
