Ghanaian football legend, Anthony Yeboah is among the top 3 African goal scorers of all time in the German top flight division.

The striker who is considered one of the most prominent and prolific goal scorers in African football history was one of the first black players to play in the Bundesliga during the 1990s.

He had stints with FC Saarbrücken, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Hamburger SV. Yeboah’s was a walking highlight reel with a reputation for scoring spectacular goals throughout his career.

The powerful forward bagged back-to-back top goalscorer accolades in the 92/93 and 93/94 Bundesliga seasons, netting 20 and 18 goals respectively.

In total, Yeboah ended his Bundesliga chapter with 96 goals which ranks him as the second all time African scorer in the German League, two behind Gabonese star Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang who scored 98 goals during his time at Dortmund.

Former Nigeria international Jonathan Akpoborie completes the Top 3 with 60 goals to his name.
