Former Ghana international, Felix Aboagye has tipped the Black Stars to lift the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations trophy in Ivory Coast next year.
Ghana is among the twenty-four countries to partake in the tournament scheduled for January 13 through to February 11, 2024 .
The last time Ghana won the trophy was in 1982 and has since failed to win its fifth AFCON trophy after several attempts, finishing as the runners-up on three occasions.
“Yes, Ghana are capable of winning the tournament. At the present time, Ghana is not performing well, but in the atmosphere and competitions of the tournament itself, everything changes”, he said as quoted by Ghanasoccernet.
