Black Stars coach Otto Addo believes Ghana is ahead of Nigeria in terms of general on-field performances.
Despite suffering a 2-1 defeat to the runners up from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeria, in the 2025 Unity Cup on Wednesday, Otto Addo’s statement stems from past happenings.
When asked about the two sides, the former Dortmund scout made references to past achievements while comparing both sides.
“When you look at World Cup appearances and also African Cup winners, It’s quite even. I would say even though we lost, I would like to say maybe we a little bit ahead at the moment, but yeah, it’s a good competition, he told the GFA media team.
