Ghana goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi is expected to bring competition after signing a new deal with St. Gallen.
The 25 year old signed a two year deal with the Swiss club until 2025.
The Ghanaian goalkeeper joined St. Gallen from Sochaux in 2020 on a three-year deal that was set to expire in 2023.
He has, however, signed a new contract as a reward from the club for his outstanding performances in the Swiss Super League this season.
With Ati-Zigi now staying until 2025, the Ghanaian is expected to bring competition and help improve the side.
In six league appearances this season, the 25-year-old has kept two clean sheets.
Ati-Zigi has, however, been left out of Ghana’s squad for this month’s pre-2022 World Cup friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
