Crystal Palace escaped a defeat away from home on Monday night after a strike from Jordan Ayew saw the side draw 1-1 with Everton in the English Premier League.

The talented forward started for Crystal Palace on Monday night in the Round 25 encounter against Everton in the league campaign.

In a game played at Goodison Park, Jordan Ayew equalised in the 66th minute.

He received a pass from Jean-Philippe Mateta and fired an unstoppable thunderbolt strike that ended up in the back of the Everton net.

Unfortunately, Crystal Palace could not defend the lead.

A spirited effort from Everton saw the team equalizing through Amadou Onana to force the match to end in a 1-1 draw.

The result keeps Crystal Palace out of the relegation zone of the English Premier League.

The Eagles must continue fighting for points to stay up and avoid the drop at the end of the campaign.
