Ghana defender Samuel Sarfo put up an incredible performance for his side Al Khaleej as they secured promotion to Saudi Pro League after clinching the Saudi Arabia First Division title.
Sarfo played full throttle as Al Khaleej drew goalless with Najran FC on Saturday whereas Al Adalh were also held to a goalless stalemate.
The draw sees Al Khaleej finish top of the league table with 66 points from 38 matches, same as second placed Al Adalh but the former were superior in goals difference.
This is second time the Saihat based have won the Saudi First Division after winning it for the very first time in the 2005/06 season.
The former Liberty Professionals skipper joined Al Khaleej from Iran PRO League side Saipa FC in July 2019 and has since become a key cog of the team.
Sarfo made his 100th appearance for Al Khaleej in their 2-1 defeat to Al Wehda in March.
