Ghana defender Joseph Attamah will miss the 2022 World Cup in Qatar due to injury.
The 28 year old is set to be sidelined for several months as he continues his rehabilitation program.
Turkish side Kayserispor have therefore left him out of their squad for the first half of the season.
“Information Our professional football player Joseph Attamah was not included in the registration list of the Turkish Football Federation due to his injury.
Accordingly, Attamah will not be able to take part in Super League matches during the first half of the season. Yukatel Kayserispor Club,” the club said in a statement on Twitter.
The Black Stars will be making their fourth appearance at the global showpiece which begins in November in Qatar.
