Former Black Stars head coach Otto Addo believes Ghana could have done better if he had enough time with the team.
The Black Stars lost two matches and won one in group H and couldn’t progress to the next stage of the tournament.
The 47-year-old took over the job in February – less than a year to the global showpiece in Qatar.
“The windows we had were June, September and World Cup so there was no much time. Surely this is normal if we will have had more time together, we could have developed even better,” coach Otto Addo address the media in Doha
“I saw a lot of process and I know it is difficult for a lot of people to understand.” He added
Addo qualified Ghana for the World Cup after beating Nigeria during the play-offs.
After stepping down as Ghana coach, he will continue his role at Dortmund as a talent coach.
