Ghana’s head coach, Chris Hughton, is determined to fine-tune the team’s offensive prowess during the upcoming friendly matches.
The Black Stars come up against Mexico on October 14 before taking on the United States of America three days later in this month’s international break.
The senior national team have featured four times under the Irish-born gaffer, scoring once in the first half.
“There are areas of our game that we can improve there is no doubt about that,” Hughton told Ghanafa.org
“Perhaps scoring goals early enough in games to take pressure off ourselves is one area we are seriously working on,” he added.
Ghana has been pitted in Group B against Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations group stage draw.
