Ghana coach Chris Hughton has tasked his players to strongly respond to the setback against Mexico as they prepare to face the United States on Tuesday.
Ghana suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mexico on Saturday, falling short of expectations by failing to register a single shot on target.
The loss was Hughton’s first since his appointment as Ghana’s coach eight months ago.
“It is exactly the same message for the players; what we don’t want is to leave this international camp with two poor results,” Hughton said.
” The result of that is always looking for a reaction from the team in the second game [against the USA].”
The Black Stars have already arrived in Nashville, Tennessee, where the match against the USA will be held.
