Ghana boss Kwesi Appiah has lauded the positive mentality of his players after they thrashed Lesotho in the opening 2014 World Cup qualifier.
The Black Stars beat their opponent 7-0 at the Baba Yara stadium to begin the journey to Brazil on a blistering fashion.
The win was the heaviest score line recorded by the West Africa giants since they beat perennial rivals Nigeria by the same margin in a friendly in 1965.
The ex-international says he is delighted with the attacking mentality of his side.
“We are very happy with the scoreline. We must congratulate the players for putting up such a performance.
“Their positive mentality is fantastic and I believe if they continue in such a manner, they will go places.
“The win surely will be a morale booster ahead of the game against the Zambians. Let us continue to pray for the team.
