Ghana-born Togolese international Kennedy Kofi Boateng has confirmed receiving multiple of offers from European clubs as he nears Santa Clara exit this summer.
The 25-year-old who joined the Portuguese top-flight side in July 2021 on a two-year deal is under contract until 2023.
But the former WAFA defender has disclosed he will leave the club ahead of the upcoming season.
Speaking on Angel TV, the towering guardsman disclosed he has received a chunk of offers and is currently weighing up his options.
“I signed a two-year contract with the club and I have already played one season and my mentality is not to play all the two-years, I went there to play just one good season and, in this summer, I am hoping for a best move and I think I am going to move”
“There a lot of teams interested in me so they are just talking to my team and we will see what happens. Probably, by next week or two, I will move”
“I have offers from different countries, I am going to play top-flight football, I will be in Europe because I am still young”
Boateng had his development at Ghanaian side WAFA SC before moving abroad in August 2016 to sign for Austrian Bundesliga side LASK Linz.
He enjoyed loan spells at SV Reid between 2017 and 2019 before joining them permanently.
The former Ghana U-20 defender since switching nationality to play for Togo has capped four times.
