Ghana international, Tariqe Fosu has reacted after completing his move to English club Rotherham United FC.
The versatile player on Friday, January 20, joined Rotherham United FC on loan for the rest of the season from English Premier League side Brentford.
Speaking to the media team of Rotherham United FC, Tariqe Fosu said he is happy and cannot wait to get going to prove his worth.
“I’m quite happy to get things done. Hopefully, I can get on and show what I’m about,” Fosu said.
In announcing the signing of the Black Stars player, Rotherham United said, “Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the loan capture of Brentford attacker Tariqe Fosu, who arrives at AESSEAL New York Stadium until the end of the 2022/23 campaign, subject to ratification from the EFL, FA, and Premier League.
“The 27-year-old has most commonly been utilised as a wing-back on either flank or deployed as a winger and spent the first half of the campaign with fellow Sky Bet Championship outfit Stoke City, where he made 20 appearances across all competitions.”
The club statement added, “Everyone at Rotherham United would like to welcome Tariqe to South Yorkshire and wish him all the very best for his stint here with us.”
Tariqe Fosu has become the third signing of Rotherham United in the January transfer window.
At the club, he will wear the Number 7 jersey.
