Ghana attacker David Accam returned from injury but unused by Chicago Fire in their 1-1 stalemate with DC United on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old had been out for close to four weeks with a knee sprain problem.
But Fire manager Veljko Paunović included the winger in his squad for the game against DC United but he did not use him for the clash.
Fire succumbed to a 1-1 draw against visiting United at the Toyota Park.
Ghanaian Patrick Nyarko scored the equalising goal for United.
