Ghana international, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh was in action for SC Freiburg on Thursday night when the team fought to draw 1-1 against Olympiacos in the Uefa Europa League.
The attacking midfielder started for his team today when the side hosted the opponent from Greece.
In a game serving as a matchday five encounter of Group G, Daniel-Kofi Kyereh put up a good performance for his team.
He however did not last the entire duration of the game. He was replaced in the 64th minute by attacker Woo Jeong.
On the matchday, Olympiacos played well, especially in the early parts of the first half, and scored through danger man Youssef El Arabi.
Thanks to the resilient displays from SC Freiburg, the team managed to score in injury time of the second half through Lukas Kübler to restore parity and force the match to end in a stalemate.
The draw leaves SC Freiburg top of the Group G standings of this season’s Uefa Europa League ahead of the final game of the group stages.
