Ghana midfielder Daniel Kofi-Kyere has been named in the Kicker Bundesliga 2 outstanding players of the season following an electrifying campaign for St Pauli last term.
The in-demand 26-year-old impressed heavily last term as Pauli failed to secure promotion to the German Bundesliga.
The Ghana international turned up an array of mind-blowing performances for the Bundesliga 11 side for St Pauli.
Kofi Kyere has been named among 26 players in ‘Kicker’ outstanding players of the season.
The Ghanaian is second behind Schalke 04 midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar.
Left-back Leart Paqarada is also listed in this top category in the “Defensive flank” ranking – behind Matthias Bader (Darmstadt 98) and Mitchell Weiser (Werder Bremen) in third place.
Kyere, who is wanted by a number of clubs in Germany including Freiburg, made 67 appearances for St Pauli, scoring 22 goals and providing 21 assists.
