The Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Dr. Nyarko Oduro, has made it clear that GHALCA is distancing itself from the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) proposed constitutional amendment to allow a third term for the GFA president.
Dr. Oduro explained that the decision comes from concerns the amendment seems designed to benefit specific individuals rather than the broader interests of Ghanaian football.
He stressed that GHALCA’s main priority is the welfare and development of its member clubs. With the upcoming Top 4 tournament around the corner, the association wants all football decisions to align with the growth and success of the clubs.
GHALCA plans to continue working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that any changes to the GFA constitution truly serve the entire football community.
