GFA welcomes Athletic Club striker Inaki Williams to the Black Stars

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has welcomed Inaki Williams after he agreed to play for the Black Stars.

The country’s football governing body took to social media to express their delight for the allegiance switch of the 28-year-old.

Inaki expressed his readiness to represent the Black Stars after having a successful conversations with officials of the Ghana Football Association.

The Bilbao attacker, who had represented Spain U-21  in the past, wants to “defend the Black Stars”.

He is expected to be part of Ghana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament scheduled to be staged in Qatar.
