Ghana Football Association is set to announce the appointment of a new Black Stars coach this month.
The position became vacant following the departure of Otto Addo following Ghana’s disappointing campaign at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The country’s football governing body has since received over 60 applications for the top job and are likely to settle on one candidate in the coming weeks.
This latest development was confirmed by the FA’s Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum in an interview with Asempa FM.
“I think it will be this month. From the conversations going on it is very likely a new head coach of the Black Stars will be appointed this month”
“There will be an ExCo meeting soon and everything will be finalized there” he said.
