Ghana Football Association’s spokesperson, Henry Asante Twum, provides insights into the recent adjustments made to the Black Stars’ schedule.
Initially planning to start their camping in Accra on Monday and then move to Kumasi on Wednesday, the technical team decided on a change.
“On Monday evening, there were some changes they (the technical team) wanted us to travel to Kumasi early so that the team could concentrate fully throughout the week” Twum explained in an interview with Peace FM.
As a result, the team landed in Kumasi yesterday morning, with the squad conducting their training at the Baba Yara Stadium in the afternoon.
Currently, 24 players are in camp, with goalkeeper Ati Zigi expected to join the team soon.
Twum assures that they are waiting for Zigi to arrive this morning, anticipating a full squad to be ready for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar on Friday.
