President of New Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu, is calling for the resignation of Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku following Ghana’s disappointing performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON),
Ghana faced early elimination from the AFCON, failing to secure a victory in the group stage.
This marks the second consecutive early exit for the Black Stars in the continental showpiece.
“The Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku must resign following Black Stars poor performance in the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast,” He told Asempa FM.
Ghana ended their AFCON campaign in Group B in third position with two points.
The disappointing performance led to the dismissal of coach Chris Hughton with search underway for a new gaffer.
