GFA partners with German International School for ‘Football4Girls’ campaign

The Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is collaborating with the German International School in Accra to organize a one-day ‘Football4Girls’ campaign on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. This event is part of the school’s annual AHK*S German Day Celebration.

Under the theme ‘FACES OF FOOTBALL’, 30 girls aged 7-12 from three schools will participate in on- and off-pitch activities, including fun games.

The GFA will be represented by Women’s Football Development Manager, Jennifer Amankwaa Sarpong, and selected players from the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.

Mrs. Amankwaa Sarpong will share insights into the GFA’s Women’s Football Strategy, its implementation, and technical aspects. The players will also mentor the young girls, sharing their football journeys, challenges, goals, and inspiring stories to motivate and empower them.

This partnership aligns with the GFA’s Women’s Football Strategy Implementation program, aimed at promoting grassroots women’s football development nationwide.
