GFA Foundation and Women’s football entreat all to test for breast cancer

The Ghana Football Association (GFA), through the GFA Foundation and Women’s Football, is encouraging all stakeholders, especially Women’s in football, to participate in the 2023 Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign observed in the month of October.

This year’s programme is under the theme ‘Keeping Her in The Picture’, a call to everyone to look out for the well-being of the important women in their lives.

The primary objective of this month-long campaign is to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, support those affected by the disease, and look for solutions on prevention and treatment.

The GFA Foundation and our clubs are hereby reminding all female administrators, staff, officials, and female players to take advantage of this month-long awareness period to get examined either through self-examination or clinical examination.

The Association will be providing tips on its social media platforms to promote the awareness of the campaign.
