GFA Football School kicks off 5th CAF Licence C course at Prampram

Following the roll-out of the CAF Licence C training courses, the fifth batch of qualified coaches are set to undertake the programme at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GFA Technical Centre) at Prampram.

Thirty coaches who hold Licence D and have attained the required practice peroid per the CAF Coaching Convention are the qualified participants attending the course.

Director of Coach Education, Desmond Sakyi Ofei, will lead the training with support from the Technical Director Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, Administrative Manager Andrews Kwesi Eshun and other certified FIFA/CAF Instructors.

Per the new CAF Coaching Convention, Licence C training must consist of two modules that must be done for fifteen days to meet the course credit hours requirements.

Course participants are expected to do a compulsory thirty-day attachment with a club of their choices under the supervision of qualified Coaching Instructors after Module I before returning to complete Module II.

Module I of the course starts on Monday, March 25, 2024, and ends on April 1, 2024.
