The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rubbished rumours suggesting its upcoming 31st Ordinary Session of Congress will be held behind closed doors with no media coverage.
In a statement released on Monday, the FA confirmed that the event, slated for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, will be streamed live on all official GFA platforms for fans and stakeholders worldwide.
“In line with best global practices, millions of viewers at home and abroad will be able to follow proceedings in real time,” the statement read.
The 31st Congress, set for the E.T. Mensah Hall at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, will kick off at 11:00 a.m. All 124 Members of Congress have registered their delegates ahead of the meeting.
The FA also announced that a press conference will follow immediately after the session, giving journalists the opportunity to receive updates and ask questions on the day’s deliberations.
