GFA commence competitions management system pilot for Division Two Leagues in Accra

The Ghana Football Association(GFA) has begun a pilot deployment of the Competition Management System (CMS) at the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA).

The pilot deployment will be used for this year’s leagues of the Greater Accra RFA Division Two League Zone 5 & 6.

This pilot is in line with the GFA’s plan to roll out a nationwide implementation and usage of the CMS for all football competitions across the country.

As part of the piloting process, the GFA’s IT department has trained all club officials of GARFA and the respective zones on the CMS.

Training workshops will also be organised for Referees and Match Commissioners in GARFA.

After a successful implementation of the pilot process, the CMS will be introduced in other regions across the country.

The Association continues to introduce IT innovation and advancement to its Members and stakeholders.
