GFA Boss Kurt Okraku blasts NSA over Accra Sports Stadium closure for festivities

President of Ghana Football Association, Kurt E. S Okraku has blasted the Nations Sports Authority for closing down the Accra Sports Stadium for Christmas festivities.

The NSA shut down the stadium and compelled Premier League clubs like Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Accra Lions to move their home venue to the Baba Yara stadium and Sogakope Wafa Park respectively.

Ths pitch has been filled with canopies and seats for shows involving musicians.

“What the NSA has done to football and sports this month should never happen again. It’s just not acceptable!!!,” Okraku posted on Facebook.

The Accra Sports Stadium will be ready for football activities next year, according to the NSA.
