The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has launched the second batch of its Free License D coaching course for colts coaches in the Upper East Region.
The training, which runs from June 9 to 16, is taking place at the Kurt Okraku Technical Centre in Winkogo near Bolgatanga.
This marks the first regional session for 2025 under the GFA’s three-year plan to train 900 youth coaches nationwide for free.
Upper East RFA Chairman Alhaji Salifu Seidu Zida praised the initiative, saying it reflects the region’s commitment to grassroots football development.
The course covers youth player development, fitness, coaching methods, and player welfare.
