Experienced Football Administrator, George Afriyie is calling on Ghanaians to throw their weight behind in-form striker Mohammed Kudus.
Kudus is lifting the flag of Ghana high at the club level this season having scored 18 goals and registering five assists across competitions for Ajax.
He was Ghana’s top scorer at the 2022 World Cup, after netting two goals in three matches.
“Firstly he needs our prayers and support. Even at a point where he fails us, let us continue to support him because he is riding on a typical Ghanaian history coming out with one or two players at a particular time,” Afriyie said on 3FM.
The 22-year-old has been included in the 25-man list by coach Chris Hughton for Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
