Genk manager Wouter Vrancken confirms Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil will make injury return after international break

The manager of KRC Genk, Wouter Vrancken has provided an update on Ghana international Joseph Paintsil.

The in-form forward was absent over the weekend when his team defeated KAA Gent 1-0 in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

This is because he is injured and not fit to feature in games.

Speaking in an interview, KRC manager Wouter Vrancken has disclosed that he expects the Ghanaian forward to make a return after the international break.

“He won’t be gone for very long. He himself knows that the international break is fast approaching. This brings additional peace of mind,” Wouter Vrancken said at his last press conference.

This season, Joseph Paintsil has been in top form in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League. He has become a key player for the team and helping the side to push to challenge for the league title.
