Gary Neville has provided some advice to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta over the use of Thomas Partey ahead of Manchester United clash this weekend.
The Black Stars midfielder has been starting from the right back position for Arsenal since the kickoff of the Premier league campaign.
Neville singled out Partey in his analysis and called for Arteta to play the Ghanaian star in midfield alongside Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.
“Thomas Partey is playing half-and-half in a game. Sometimes you need to go back to basics,” he told Sky Sports.
“I’d expect next week [vs Man Utd] Mikel Arteta is going to end that experiment and go with a solid back four. Move Partey into midfield with Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard,” he added.
Arsenal stumbled to a 2-2 draw with 10-man Fulham at the weekend.
