Galatasaray, the reigning Turkish champions, is reportedly eyeing a major move to bolster their defensive lineup.

Recent media reports suggest that they are closing in on securing Hannover’s left-back, Derrick Köhn, on loan until the end of the season. According to sources, Galatasaray is keen on finalizing the deal within the week, offering Derrick Köhn a tempting loan fee of 400,000 euros.

The Turkish giants are not stopping there. They also aim to include a subsequent purchase option in the agreement, fixing the fee at a substantial two million euros.

Despite the closure of the winter transfer window across most European leagues, Galatasaray remains active in the market, capitalizing on the extended window for Turkish clubs. With negotiations in full swing, all eyes are on the imminent move that could see Derrick Köhn wear the Galatasaray jersey for the remainder of the season.
