Frederick Asare pens heart felt message to Kotoko as he departs club

Goalkeeper Frederick Asare has bid farewell to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after three years with the club.

Asare thanked the authorities, teammates, and supporters, expressing gratitude to Otumfour Osei Tutu II and the management.

He credited Kotoko for transforming him into a warrior, saying, “I came here as a young boy, but after 3 wonderful years, this club has transformed me into a warrior.”

Asare cherished the memory of leading the team to lift the FA Cup and wished the club well for the future.

“I will FOREVER remain one of you, and the great memories we have shared will be with me forever. I wish the club the very best for the next season and the many seasons to come,” he said.

Asare’s departure follows the breakdown of talks over a new deal. He thanked the amazing supporters and teammates, saying, “From the depth of my heart, I say a very big THANK YOU.”
