The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ghana’s Frederick Acheampong as Pre-Match Ceremony Coordinator for the Central African Republic vs. Angola AFCON qualifier.
The Executive Council Member who has been working for CAF/FIFA since 2019 will assist the Match Commissioner and other officials in planning and running the pre-match ceremonies and other programmes in accordance with the approved regulations of the continental governing body.
The crucial game will take place at Reunification stadium in Douala on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 14H00.
The two teams are separated by two points in the Group E standings as Central African Republic occupy the second spot with 7 points – two ahead of Angola who are in third place with 5 points.
