The transfer situation of winger Francis Amuzu makes things difficult for Anderlecht’s management. The Brussels-based club does not want to sell him now, but renewing his contract, which expires in 2024, will be tough as well.
According to reports in Belgium, the winger’s management monetary demands have gotten much too exorbitant.
A sale of Amuzu would be a huge setback for the club after the loss of Gomez to Manchester City. However, in order to keep the winger, the club would ideally prolong his contract.
Anderlecht will be in a weakened bargaining position next summer if this does not happen. However, extending it implies the club will have to increase his salary.
Francis Amuzu has been linked to a lot of clubs in France and England this summer.
