Toulouse are pushing to land Ghanaian midfielder Francis Abu, having reportedly lodged a €2.5 million offer to Belgian side Cercle Brugge.
Abu, 24, has been with the Bruges-based club since 2022, making the switch from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.
His consistent performances in the Belgian Pro League have now caught the eye of the French top flight.
Talks between the two clubs are said to be progressing steadily, with a deal potentially wrapped up by the end of the weekend, according to transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri.
While the move to Ligue 1 looks promising, sources close to the player suggest he is equally comfortable staying put should the transfer not go through.
