Ghanaian forward Patrick Twumasi was on the scoresheet again in the Israeli Liga ha’Al on Tuesday when Maccabi Netanya beat Bnei Sakhnin FC.
Twumasi scored his 7th goal of the campaign to help Netanya to secure a 3-0 victory over Sakhnin at the Netanya Stadium.
The 28-year-old former Black Stars player scored the opening goal of the match in the additional minutes of the first half.
Netanya doubled their advantage in the 67th minute through Cameroonian midfielder Boris Enow who spent only nine minutes since coming on to get on the scoresheet.
Twumasi was substituted three minutes from time after he was replaced with 19-year-old Israeli forward Liroy Gabay.
The home side sealed their victory in the stoppage time with a goal from substitute Amir Berkovich after being set up by Gabay.
Twumasi was named Netanya’s best player in month of April. He now has 7 goals in 13 appearances this season.
