Ghanaian forward Ferdinand Takyi has sealed a move to German side Worpswede on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old parted ways with Brinkumer after the expiration of his contract earlier this year.

Takyi is a journeyman, having plied his trade in Austria, England, Latvia, Italy, and Norway.

At 6 feet 4 inches tall, he brings a strong physical presence to Worpswede’s front line.

His aerial prowess and experience across multiple European leagues are expected to be valuable assets.

The club will hope his addition boosts their attacking options for the new season.
