Nketiah started and lasted 79 minutes when his outfit succumbed to a narrow defeat at Newcastle United on Saturday.
England international Anthony Gordon ensured Newcastle United secure maximum points after hitting the back of the net in the 64th minute mark.
The 24-year-old has spent most of his career in England, playing for the Gunners. He joined Arsenal as a youth player before graduating to the senior team in 2017.
Nketiah spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Leeds United, where he scored three goals and provided an assist in 17 games in the Championship before establishing himself as a key member of the Arsenal team.
The England-born Ghanaian has 19 goals and provided 4 assists in his 100 Premier League games for Arsenal.
This season, Nketiah has five goals in 11 Premier League games for the Gunners.
