Forson Amankwah grabs two assists against RB Salzburg in Austria

Ghana’s Forson Amankwah grabbed two assists in Altach’s defeat to RB Salzburg on Saturday in the 11th round of the Admiral Bundesliga.

The first half ended with both sides not finding the back of the net.

In the second half, Salzburg got the lead. Altach was able to fend off Simic’s shot, Wöber’s follow-up shot was deflected by Zwischenbrugger, leaving Casali powerless.

Amankwah found Alexis Tibidi at the right moment on the left to score in the 57th minute.

Van der Brempt’s cross in the box was easily headed by Adamu. Koita just had to push the ball in to make it 2-1.

Adamu made it 3-1 in the 72nd minute from a Wöber cross. In the 78th minute, Altach fought hard to score after Forson Amakwah’s cross was headed in by Nuhiu.

The game ended 3-2 and Altach will play Hartberg in their next game while RB Salzburg will play Zagreb in the Champions League.
