Ex SV Werder Bremen player, Ivan Klasnić has backed Ghanaian international Daniel Kofi Kyere to join his former side.
The retired striker wants Kyere to follow his footsteps by joining Werder Bremen, a club he switched to from FC St. Pauli in 2001.
Kyereh is expected to leave his current side with many offers on the table.
Kickoffghana.com understands the 2004 Bundesliga champions are in pole position to secure his services.
“He has to pay attention to which club he really has the opportunity to play in. I think he would rather come to Werder than Freiburg and Gladbach. That’s why I would advise him to move to Bremen.” Klasnić told Germain media the Bild.
The 26-year-old is currently on vacation in Turkey, pondering over his future which is expected to be sorted out in the coming weeks.
Kyereh netted 12 times and assisted nine last season for St Pauli.
