Former Real Madrid player Santi Solari has been speaking about the upcoming 2021/22 Champions League final between his ex-side and Liverpool.
The final takes place on May 28 in Paris at 8 pm UK time.
Ahead of the tie, Solari has been speaking about why Real will believe they are the favourites to win the game.
Solari was at Madrid between 2000/2005 as a player, winning a number of trophies in that time, including the Champions League.

That Champions League is just one of 13 Madrid have won during their storied history, making them the most successful club in the competition by some way.
And it is this history and the aura around the club that Solari believes will make Los Blancos think they are favourites to win in Paris:
“In Madrid, there is always confidence,” says 2002 Champions League winner Santi Solari. “This is football, and in football anything can happen. But if Madrid have anything, it is this faith that they are favourites in finals, and the players take to the pitch knowing they have the weight of history behind them. When you are a Real Madrid player there is this feeling of community, of history, of victories. It is always there, and you feel part of it.”
