Former Manchester City midfielder Mohammed Aminu joins Bechem United

Bechem United have confirmed the signing of former Manchester City youth star Mohammed Aminu ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

Aminu, a talented midfielder, returns home with high expectations after spending several years honing his skills in Europe’s top academies.

The 24-year-old’s transfer is seen as a major boost to Bechem United’s ambitions this season and beyond.

Aminu’s experience training under world-class coaches and alongside top young talents in Europe will likely inject creativity, vision, and energy into Bechem United’s midfield.

Aminu’s journey to stardom was marked by promise, with a £2 million transfer fee from WAFA to Manchester City in 2017.

However, he struggled to find consistency and was eventually released in 2022.
