Ghanaian striker Albert Amoah has officially begun his stint with Libyan giants Al Ahly Benghazi, marking a significant milestone in his career.
The 23-year-old forward joined the Libyan powerhouse from Asante Kotoko, one of Ghana’s top-flight clubs, in a deal confirmed on October 24, 2024.
Amoah’s impressive form for Kotoko, where he scored 16 goals in 30 league appearances, caught the attention of several clubs across North Africa and the Middle East.
His pace, composure, and finishing prowess made him a fan favorite at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Al Ahly Benghazi reportedly moved swiftly to secure his services, with the player set to earn a monthly salary of $20,000.
The transfer marks Amoah’s first venture abroad, and he expressed his eagerness to take his game to the next level.
Amoah has now started training with Al Ahly Benghazi, gearing up to make his debut for the Libyan side.
