Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea are on the verge of hiring former Great Olympic trainer Annor Walker as their new head coach.
The Bibires are looking for a replacement for Christopher Ennin, who is reportedly set to join Hearts of Oak as assistant coach.
However, the Berekum-based club has settled on the former Black Galaxies and Samartex coach to lead the club in the second half of the campaign.
Walker is currently without a club after ending his spell with Great Olympics following an unimpressive performance.
Speaking to Footballghana.com, Walker said, “It’s true. I have had talks with Berekum Chelsea and a move to the club is imminent. An agreement has been reached between us, and I’m just waiting for confirmation from them”
Berekum Chelsea are sixth on the Ghana Premier League table with 27 points after 18 matches into the campaign.
