Former Ghana U-17 star Mohammed Aminu joins Bechem United in career revival bid

Bechem United have signed former Ghana youth international Mohammed Aminu ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, Footiecenter.com has gathered.

The 23-year-old, once hailed as “the Neymar” for his flair and goal-scoring ability, is hoping to revive his career after a difficult spell in Europe.

A source close to the player confirmed that Aminu sees Bechem United as the ideal place to relaunch his career.

Aminu rose to fame at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and later earned a $2 million move from WAFA to Manchester City.

He was once linked with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG, but loan spells at NAC Breda and Lommel SK were hampered by injuries and inconsistency.

Since his release by Manchester City in 2022, Aminu has struggled for form, with his last stint coming at Greek lower-tier side Kozanis.

Now back in Ghana, the talented attacker is determined to make a strong impression and get his career back on track with the Hunters.
