Former Ghana striker Matthew Amoah has had his contract as NAC Breda’s striker trainer extended.
Amoah is a member of the club’s youth academy and has been training strikers since 2018.
“The contracts of Wilfred van der Linden (soccer affairs coordinator), Roy van de Vijfeijken (physical trainer) and Matthew Amoah (striker trainer) have been extended,” NAC said.
“The contracts of Sander Wirix (current NAC Under 13), Jens Wirix (current NAC Under 14) and Roy van Endschot (current NAC Under 11) have also been extended.”
Amoah has the ambition to become a full-time youth coach.
He returned to NAC Breda following his retirement in 2018. During his time as a player, he scored 56 goals in over 100 appearances.
Recently, his son Elliot Amoah scored the winning goal for De Zandberg against De Toermalijn in the Breda School Football competition.
