The former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Saani Daara, has expressed his confusion and concern about some Ghanaian players, such as Yussif Mubarik and Afriyie Acquah, choosing to sign with clubs in Nepal, specifically FC Chitwan in the Nepalese Premier League.
He finds it particularly astonishing that Acquah, who has previously played for notable European clubs like AC Parma, Torino, Empoli, Palermo, and Hoffenheim, has opted to join a Nepalese club on a free transfer after successful negotiations.
In his Twitter post, Saani Daara appears to be questioning whether this move is in the right direction for the players or if they are regressing by choosing to play in Nepal.
