Former Genoa sporting director Daniele Delli Carri has tipped Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie for greatness in the Italian top-flight.
Cofie cut his teeth at Genoa and made his Serie A debut in May 2010 before being loaned out to Torino, Piacenza and Sassuolo.
But he was sold to Chievo Verona last season where he made 27 Serie A matches and scored two goals in the 2012/2013 season.
He was brought back to be club where he considered a huge talent.
“Cofie we brought home in the summer because of his potential and quality. To me can get to become an important player for the future,†Carri said,
“Genoa have done well to hold in January, the club considers him one of his assets and did not want to lose him.”
Cofie has made 12 Serie A appearances for Genoa this term including five starts.
